Discover Design Engineering

Futuristic digital tunnel

Event schedule details

Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June

12.00–18.00

Event location details

Dyson Building, Imperial College London

Visit Imperial College London’s Dyson School of Design Engineering to explore how their students and researchers are combining creativity and technology to solve real-world challenges!

Bringing together projects from across the School, this exhibition will showcase what happens when engineering rigour meets human-centred design—an approach that moves beyond making “better things” and focuses on making things better, for people and for the planet.

Explore interactive exhibits, experiment with new technologies and see innovative projects in action. Along the way you will have the chance to speak with the people behind the ideas—from first-year students to company founders—and hear how they are using design engineering to develop solutions in areas including sustainable materials, responsible AI, healthcare technologies, human-computer interaction and robotics.

Hands-on activities will give you a taste of what sets design engineering apart as a 21st-century discipline, while short talks from experts will reflect on its role in a rapidly changing world.

Whether you’re curious about a future career, interested in the potential of emerging technologies or simply want to see creative ideas come to life, head to the Dyson School of Design Engineering to discover how their ideas can shape the future for the better.
