German Taster Session for Adults

Curious about learning German? These drop in taster sessions give adults the opportunity to experience what a German lesson at the Goethe-Institut is like.

Guided by an experienced teacher, participants learn their first German words and phrases in an interactive and supportive environment. The sessions offer an introduction to the Goethe-Institut’s teaching approach, focusing on communication, participation and confidence.

In addition, participants will receive information about the Goethe-Institut’s broad range of German courses. Options include independent study, group courses, online and onsite learning, as well as hybrid formats.

No prior knowledge of German is required. The sessions are ideal for anyone considering learning German or simply curious to try something new during the festival.

This is a drop-in event that is best suited for adults.

The event is in the Goethe-Institut Library, which has a ramp for wheelchair users and accessible toilets that can be reached by a lift.
