Following the Great Exhibition of 1851, Prince Albert concieved a cultural-educational quarter, known as Albertopolis, which was realised by his supporters and built in South Kensington, with the Royal Albert Hall at its centre.

On this Inside-Out Tour, you’ll join a friendly tour guide on a journey through Victorian architecture and history, finishing inside the Royal Albert Hall’s spectacular auditorium.

Tours will run at 12.30–13.30, 14.00–15.00 and 15.30–16.30 on both Saturday and Sunday.

Visitor information

Tours will depart from the South Ken Culture Quarter Tent, on the south end of Exhibition Road.

This is a drop-in event suitable for all ages.
