Sometimes it is rocket science!

Families with young children are invited to join the Science Museum Explainer team to build and launch your very own rockets—using the power of of a squeeze!

What will your rocket look like and how high will it get your astronaut-mouse to fly?

Visitor information

This is a drop-in event that is best suited for children age 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Family Fun Zone, which is located in a garden with grass and paths, has step-free access and accessible portable toilets.
