Welcome to Space Craft Corner, where art meets astrophysics!
Make your own colourful black hole ornaments inspired by the surprising science behind these extreme objects, guided by arts and crafts artist Martine from PomegranART, alongside theoretical physicists from Imperial College London.
Professor Toby Wiseman and his colleagues at Imperial investigate the quantum properties of black holes, following the work of scientists like Stephen Hawking, which showed that black holes aren’t actually completely black.
Join them to assemble and decorate your own not-quite-black hole decorations, while learning how these phenomena can glow in different colours as they age.
