UK Wildlife Wonders

Butterfly resting on a leaf

Event schedule details

Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June

12.00–18.00

Event location details

Imperial College Road

Step into the wild world of UK nature with this hands-on, art-filled workshop, celebrating the creatures that quietly keep our ecosystems thriving.

From pollinating bees and fluttering butterflies to soil shaping worms, seed spreading birds and water purifying plants, come and discover how wildlife supports our everyday lives and how we can help protect them in return.

Design your own wildlife-inspired creation and learn about the ecosystem services each species provides, sparking curiosity and conversation through creativity. Once your masterpieces are complete, participants can join a parade led by steelpan band Nostalgia, and take part in a vibrant celebration of biodiversity, imagination and the powerful connections between people and the natural world.

Parades will take place at 14.00–14.45 and 16.45–17.30 on both Saturday and Sunday.
