Climb like a gecko, reflect like a beetle, or sense heat like a dog's nose as you explore the potential of nature-inspired materials.

Taking inspiration from nature, material scientists and engineers are designing new materials to improve our lives. Join Dr Eleonora D'Elia and students from Imperial College London’s Department of Materials to interact with a range of stimulating activities utilising Gecko Tape, Liquid Crystals, pressure sensor light activators, polarisers, and self-healing and shape-memory materials.

Spark your curiosity about the world of materials science and how fundamental it is for our future in a more sustainable world.
