Wuschel is the main character in a new, creative German learning resource for primary schools. In this interactive activity, Wuschel the alien has come to Earth on an important mission: he needs to find seven special objects to take back to his home planet.
But there’s a problem—on Earth, people speak a different language: German. Children are invited to help Wuschel by learning simple German words, solving fun puzzles and quizzes, and searching for hidden objects in the Goethe-Institut library. The mission takes around 10–15 minutes to complete and can be joined at any point during the day. Participants start at the meeting point in the library, where they collect a mission booklet and receive their instructions. They then set off independently to complete the tasks at their own pace.
Once they return with the correct answers, children receive a small surprise as a thank you for helping Wuschel complete his mission!
