Thank you to all our residents who continue to support the Great Exhibition Road Festival, and engage with us during the consultation process. The experience of our local residents is very important to the festival team and to all the local partners involved. 

We look forward to welcoming you to explore the extraordinary on Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June 2026!

Residents Letters

A letter with information around the 2026 Festival’s operations has been distributed to local residents directly affected by road closures in January 2026, with another to follow in May 2026. Missed the letter? Click here to read it.

Exhibition Road (between Cromwell Road and Prince Consort Road) will be closed to traffic, during part of Friday 5 June, and then during the day on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June, with the road reopening overnight on Friday and Saturday evening. During the road closure period, residents within the closure area would continue to have pedestrian and vehicle access to their properties, supported by the security team onsite, as we did in previous years. 

Closure timings:

Friday 5 June: 09.00-16.00

Saturday 6 June: 07.00-20.00

Sunday 7 June: 08.00-22.00

A further letter will be distributed to residents who live in the wider surrounding areas of South Kensington in April 2026.
