SONDER : noun. the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.
Step into a perception-altering, nostalgia-inducing urban experience right in the heart of the Great Exhibition Road Festival.
This programme was curated by the Festival's Young Producers; engaging you on a borderless auditory and visual journey of nostalgic summertime memories using photography, film and sound. Collaborations with lens-based artist Nathaniel Telemaque and scientist Dr Simon Foster shine light on anthropological archives and interpretations of summer.
In the crowds of this festival in the heart of London, take a minute to look around you. As the sun shines down and the smells of summer envelop you take notice that the people around you live a life a fluid and as vibrant as your own. At one point you have either been them or will be them; if you’re curious about this feeling, then please join us at ’SONDER’ — the audio-visual experience.
