Bees and us

Event schedule details
Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 June
12.00-18.00
Event location details
Exhibition Road
Meet scientists making amazing discoveries about insects, and meet their friendly bumblebees. Make seedballs to grow bee food, and play games to find out how bees help get food on our plates.
This hands-on, drop in workshop celebrates bees and other polinating insects. Scientists and conservationists will be on hand to play games and chat about how bees help us and how we can help the bees. Get up close to real bees and find out more about how diverse they are. Roll up your sleeves, get messy and make a seedball so you can grow bee-friendly plants.
