Male, female; art, science. The world is full of binaries that some believe to be inherent, but are actually ones that we as humans have created. What can breaking these binaries teach us?
Nemo Martin is an award-winning London-based writer who has worked across different media from theatre productions to podcasts. They are also non-binary and work as a digitiser for the Natural History Museum, recording their vast collections for publication.
Having been drawn to the arts after considering it to be more boundary-pushing, they have since found working across art and science to be fascinating, and that their identity as a queer person has taught them that the world is a spectrum and there’s no such thing as a binary choice.
