Join the microbe community! Find out what makes a microbe and make your own with pompoms. Discover how helpful microbes can tackle plastic pollution, what happens when unhelpful microbes evolve and what this means for humans.

Scientists, medics and researchers from Imperial College London have joined together for this hands-on activity all about amazing microbes. Tiny microbes make a huge impact on humans. Unhelpful ones can make us sick, and although antibiotics fight these microbes, what happens when the microbes fight back? Helpful microbes might be able to transform plastic pollution into useful materials, but how? Come and make, play and discover along with us.
