About the performances
Royal College of Music
Come and hear performances from RCM's top musicians, inculding string, woodwind and saxophone quartets, and a trio from the Historical Performance Faculty.
Together and Change
Join in an easy and fun participatory Flash mob, with a workshop followed by a later performance. The dance routine has been choreographed to celebrate Pride.
Imperial Gospel Choir
Imperial College Gospel Choir is a diverse and tight-knit group who sing a huge variety of songs, from the traditional Christian Gospel music to the more contemporary, full of passion and enthusiasm!
Fat Brass
Fat Brass are an explosive lip-splitting brass tour de force. Composed of the creme-de-la-creme of up-and-coming horn players and drummers, the band seamlessly blends into one giant wall of sound that you can hear coming across the horizon way before you spot the trumpet bells glinting in the sunshine.
Imperial College Jazz Group
The Imperial College Jazz Group is a select line-up of skilled musicians from the Imperial College Big Band, perfectly curated to show off the best of what the band has to offer.
N’famady Kouyaté
N’famady Kouyaté is a young energetic master musician from Guinea (Conakry), who relocated to Cardiff (Wales) in 2019. In the UK N’famady has played both as a solo artist and with a full band line up – where his arrangements are a fusion of Mandingue African with western jazz, pop, indie, and funk influences provided by an ever-evolving collective of musicians. N’famady’s primary instrument is the balafon – the traditional wooden xylophone, sacred to West African culture and his family heritage of the griot/djeli.
