Meet scientists attempting to sequence the DNA from every species of plant, animal, fungi and protist in Britain and Ireland.

The Darwin Tree of life project is an ambitious attempt to document and sequence the genomes of every species of plant, animal, fungi and protist in Britain and Ireland. Doing so requires teams of scientists from various institutions from across the UK. Come and meet some of the scientists working on the project, learn how we extract DNA and see it happening for yourself.
