Hear from a PhD student who is researching energy efficiency as a tool to combat climate change, and also writes poetry! When she's not fundraising to help empower young future energy leaders, volunteering with young refugees or brewing low-carbon beer, she enjoys writing poetry to communicate her hopes and ideas. Some of it is OK, some of it is award-winning and some of it she's embarrassed by. Decide for yourself at A Day in the Life of a Spoken-Word Scientist.
This is part of our ‘Day in the Life’ talks which are short, lively and personal stories aimed at teenagers thinking about their future careers. Take a look at the other talks in this series.
