Take refuge from the festival activities in the cinema at the Goethe-Institut where we will be screening outstanding films. Drop in anytime!
With our SHORT EXPORT – MADE IN GERMANY 2023 programme, outstanding German short films are travelling the world. These films tell different stories about searching - for the right words, where to go, for beginnings, and for what remains of us.
The journey takes you from the 'Square of Cultures' in Cologne to the Polish-Belarusian border, from there, further out to our oceans and even to space. In its eighteenth edition, the programme is thoughtful, light-hearted and surprising. Selected from over 470 German submissions made to the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the six German short films in this unconventional programme provide an insight into the broad artistic, aesthetic and thematic diversity of current German short filmmaking. Don’t worry about missing out – you can jump in any time, as we are screening these films three times on a loop!
Accessibility - this event is accessible via a lift.
