Take a journey with us to discover the world of bugs. Discover where they live in your body and how they can be good for us, but also very bad.
Grab a lab coat and join us at being an Imperial College microbiologist for the day by performing some exciting experiments to investigate the inner workings of bacteria. Join in the Arms Race and compete against bacterial “weapons” that are used to attack both antibiotics and our body’s immune system. Our popular Bioluminescence room is a must see, looking at our fascinating glow-in-the-dark bacteria.
Come and find out how we are tackling the global rise of Superbugs and how, through genetics and biotechnology, researchers are finding innovative ways to fight malaria. Expect an interactive zone filled with games, displays, exhibits and experiments to teach you all about the bugs that infect us and the drugs – and other technologies – that help us defeat them!
