Draw, paint and collage the leaves you love through this summer garland activity, using eco-friendly materials and ancient Roman hedgerow structures for inspiration. Make your own summer garland and appreciate the beauty of leaves and flowers in your local landscape.

Pick from a selection of local leaves and flowers as artist and Royal College of Art alumni, Lucy Gallwey, guides you through drawing and collaging your favourite leaves. Reflect on these beautiful wonders of nature as you create a garland inspired by summer plants and the landscape structures that contain them. Feel free to bring a cutting or leaves from your garden or home for inspiration.
