Make your own brain illusions

Event schedule details

Event location details
Exhibition Road
Make your own mind-bending illusions with Imperial neuroscientists, and learn what these optical and auditory tricks tell us about how our brain works.
Illusions work because we can't always trust our brain to show what is there in front of us. As a result, they are fascinating for neuroscientists like Ani Kulkarni and Mathilde Le Gal de Kerangal.
At the Great Exhibition Road Festival Ani, Mathilde and colleagues from Imperial's Bioengineering department will join forces with artist Nick Sayers to celebrate these tricks of the mind, the eye and the ear.
Join their workshop to make your own optical illusions, experience sneaky auditory tricks, and learn a bit about what these tells us about our brains.
