Nessa Carey, Visiting Professor in Molecular Biology at Imperial College London, will be talking to Friend of Imperial, Dr Alan Grant about the astonishing advances in gene editing. She'll discuss how we can now make accurate, detailed changes to the DNA, including human DNA, with huge implications for the future control of many diseases as explained in her latest book, Hacking the code of life: how gene editing will rewrite our future.
