Speaker: Simon Foster

From ‘Schrödinger’s Cat’ paradox to spooky quantum enlargement, the strange ways our universe behaves on atomic and subatomic scales is explored through a series of award-winning short films.

Each will be introduced and discussed by a quantum physicist at Imperial who lent their expertise to help judge this international competition. Join them to hear what they loved about these amazing short snippets of science cinema and why quantum research can benefit from the perspective of artists and filmmakers in exploring how it could impact our understanding of reality.

This is part of our ‘Art of Science’ talks series. Take a look at the other talks in this series.
