Join a live recording of the Robot Talk Podcast to explore how much science fiction influences how we see the future of robotics – for good and for bad.

Could robots be our new best friends? Robotics, artificial intelligence and autonomous machines have become a necessity for our future world but what are the implications of robots for society and how much influence does science fiction have on how we embrace our new friends?

Join robot enthusiast Dr Claire Asher for a live recording of the Robot Talk Podcast with Dr Glyn Morgan, curator of the Science Museum’s Science Fiction exhibition; and robotics researchers Prof Thrishantha Nanayakkara from Imperial College London, and Prof Bani Anvari from University College London, to explore how our intelligent friends from the world of science fiction match up with state-of-the art robotics and artificial intelligence reality.

Tap into your wildest imagination of ambitious science innovations as we take off on an adventurous and exciting interactive discussion about scientific advancements, robots and science fiction.
