Exhibition Road

A moving and dramatic dance performance inspired by the exciting and ground-breaking research currently being undertaken by Imperial College London researchers into how to treat patients with blood cancer.

The performances are designed to not only raise awareness of the wondrous human immune system works and how we are learning to harness its capabilities in the quest to treat and cure cancer. We are proud to launch this performance in support of the fantastic research taking place at Imperial College London and in the Hugh and Josseline Langmuir Centre for Myeloma Research.

This project is supported and funded by Arts Council England, Imperial College London, Westminster BID and Twickenham BID. We encourage you to visit the Smart Cells website for more information.

The cast includes students from local schools, Richmond Park Academy and St. Angeles and Ursuline, and Westminster City Lions youth groups. Created by Combination Dance Artistic Director - Anne-Marie Smalldon, Creative Producer - Kath Morton-Smith, Choreographers Chloe Mead and Matt Walker, Costume Designer - Mike Lees, Music Composer - Mark Franks.
