V&A

Visit the V&A Innovate National Schools Challenge display to see innovative design ideas from students aged 11-14 from across the country.

This year students explored themes of Home and Community using design thinking skills to research and identify real-world problems and come up with solutions. Ten finalist individuals and teams were chosen from over 200 entries by our expert judging panel: broadcaster and Paralympian Ade Adepitan, musician Loyle Carner, author and structural engineer Roma Agrawal, and D&T teacher Stephanie Sweeney.

Explore ideas including an accessible kitchen hob, a mindfulness app for young people, a QR code waste scanner, and sea-cleaning robots! Read about our finalists on our blog and visit the display at the V&A’s Sackler Centre for Arts Education to find out more.

This event is not ticketed, but you will need a museum entry ticket for the V&A.
