Come play and learn how to build flexible structures with Wiggel!

Wiggel is an award-winning play system from Britton Kroessler, graduate from the RCA's MA Design Products programme, that uses silicone joints and maple dowels to create flexible, bouncy structures and shapes that stretches kids' imaginations and encourages self-led creativity. While most building systems remain static, Wiggel offers a challenge to the usual modes of constructive open play, introducing lessons on structural stability, compression, and tension, while also having an element of kinetic charm. Its ubiquitous aesthetic makes it accessible to users of all ages, genders, abilities, and cultures. Wiggel benefits greatly from collaborative play, with the hope that it inspires the next generation of thinkers, makers, and designers.
