Celebrate the UN International Year of Glass with experts from across Exhibition Road.

Glass is a wonder material and its ability to transform has made it useful across society. The role glass has played in science, healthcare and art throughout history has led to 2022 being named the UN International Year of Glass.

To celebrate this material and its contribution to society through the ages, we’ve brought together experts from across Exhibition Road to discuss the past, present, and future of this transformative substance.

In this panel discussion we will highlight the importance of glass for scientific and cultural developments; from vaccines and energy to art and design. Join us to discover the links between glass, science, art and culture.
