To celebrate World Origami Day lung and respiratory scientists at Imperial College London were joined by papercraft artist Tina Luo to host a unique art workshop.

Fold and model your own beautiful origami immune cells as you find out about the fascinating processes of infection, immunity and vaccination and what happens inside our lungs when a flu virus attacks.

Come and take part with a few sheets of paper that you can find lying around the house.

This origami collaboration between artist Tina Luo and researchers from Imperial's National Heart and Lung Institute was developed with a communicating immunology grant from the British Society for Immunology.
