Event location details

Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London

The Dyson School of Design Engineering opens its doors to showcase interactive activities and innovations which address the challenges faced by our planet.

Visit our historic building as we begin our 10th anniversary year of defining, building and showcasing a new professional discipline for the 21st Century. Through a wide range of interactive and thought provoking exhibits we show how the distinctive creative and prototype-rich design engineering approach to innovation can produce the ideas, people, capabilities and start-ups to address the challenges and opportunities the planet faces.

See how students and researchers are empowered to fuse the technical and human to build better futures. Get a glimpse of a positive future, driven by the next generations of innovators from the work of first year students just starting out, to the start-ups emerging from the school already making an impressive impact in the world around us.

Interact with technology visions in fields such as soft robotics in healthcare, agritech systems in London and global drought zones, online privacy and security challenges, battery sourcing, transport infrastructures, and materials for circular economies.
