Encourage the next generation of climate scientists, engineers and advocates for the planet. Get stuck in by designing a green car of tomorrow, before moving on our floor panels to generate energy and help power the Festival!

From clean powered cities to greener electronics, get charged up as we explore the latest sustainable solutions to our planetary emergency. With each new global record temperature, the need to find alternative ways to power our growing cities, inefficient homes, and energy demanding industries only grows.

Join us in the Energise Zone to encourage the next generation of climate scientists, engineers and advocates for the planet. Interact with a fully functioning model town powered by green energy, learn about the mining lifecycle, and receive your badge from the Atomic Academy as you gather facts on energy solutions.

With change comes great responsibility, so tap into recent innovations being used to initiate progress: build your own decarbonised battery; see how 3D printers can create low-cost, efficient electronics; and work together to make a pipe network that supplies water without wastage. Finally, design a green car of tomorrow before moving on our floor panels to generate energy and help power the Festival!
