Can you escape the clinic? Professor Veltkamp has had to rush off because of a patient emergency, and needs your help! He wants to enrol a patient onto the PRESTIGE-AF stroke-prevention drug trial in the next 30 minutes, but the information he needs is lost in his clinic. Solve puzzles, crack codes and uncover hidden messages as you dive into our drug trial escape room and help Professor Veltkamp in his task.

Along the way you’ll explore the science of stroke, learn how drug trials work, and find out how these trials can help doctors answer difficult questions, including the best way to treat people who have had a stroke. Can you enrol the patient before the time runs out and become an honorary investigator?

Visitor information

If you are under 14 years-old, you must be accompanied by an adult to take part on this activity. Please make sure you book a ticket for both of you!

Please arrive ten minutes before the event start time or your ticket will be reallocated.

This event will have some advance tickets released ahead of the Festival weekend.
