But this magical material is now a threat to our planet. Play a range of fun games and activities to learn all about the environmental impacts of plastic pollution with scientists from the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London.

Interested in knowing what you can do to combat plastic pollution and contribute to a greener environment? Try your hand at guessing how long it takes for various plastics to degrade (be prepared to be blown away!). Or play around with a microscope to take a closer look at the fine structure of tiny pieces of plastics called microplastics.
