Drip colourful paints and create a beautiful artwork inspired by fluorescent brain images as you uncover how our brain cells communicate with one another.

The brain processes information up to a whopping 270 miles per hour. That's faster than a Formula One racing car! Advanced imaging technologies allow us to visualise the cells in our brains and to study what might be going wrong in dementia.

Delivered by Dementia researchers from the Department of Brain Sciences at Imperial College London and illustrated by a stunning exhibition of the brain, you can learn how we take these beautiful images and be inspired to create your own drip painting! Whilst you create your artwork you can discover how we use these images to study brain function. It’s no grey matter, come and celebrate the most multi-faceted organ with us!
